Landcommanderij Alden Biesen is a state cultural centre, conference and seminar centre, is part of the Ministry of Culture, Art & Heritage agency, and is based in a historic castle with a European mission. The centre organizes and runs national and international courses, seminars and conferences and in-service training days for teachers and trainers on European issues, quality care, networking, validation and the use of storytelling in education. Alden Biesen has coordinated a number of Socrates and LLP projects and networks and provides in-service training on these project themes. The centre runs an international programme on European citizenship and heritage for schools with a focus on culture, heritage and European democratic structures. Alden Biesen also cooperates with the department of Education for the promotion of Comenius and Grundtvig in Flanders.

BUPNET GmbH, founded in 1985, is an adult education provider accredited by the TÜV CERT according to the quality management standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 9004:2009. BUPNET’s mission is the promotion of innovation in education and training.
BUPNET has successfully completed numerous training courses in various sectors (social and healthcare, new media, sustainable development, tourism, economy, e-commerce, intercultural issues etc.) both in the framework of European and national funded projects. Since 2000, BUPNET has carried out a series of AE and VET trainings for VET training staff on regional and European level (e.g. in several GRU courses for AE professionals in different learning topics such as blended learning didactics, course organisation and networking). BUPNET works both in the vocational training and in the (informal) adult learning sector and as such an expert organisation especially at the interface between both educational fields covered by the LLP (GRU and LdV).
BUPNET has considerable experience in (the coordination of) European projects on the theme of education, training and e-learning and possesses well-founded knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses, chances and limits of the “new ways of learning“ - especially regarding necessary specific blended learning didactics.
BUPNET is one of the founding organisations of REVEAL the Research and Evaluation Group for Validation, Evidencing and Assessing of Informal and Non-formal Learning that developed the unique approach LEVEL5 to validate informal learning. The system is specifically suitable to evaluate competences that cannot be assessed and evidenced by off the shelf systems, such as service-mindedness, active citizenship, cooperation, teamwork etc.
BUPNET staff members bring in long term expertise in European project management, (internal and external) evaluation as well as in the European research field on the validation of informal learning.
PLATO is a centre for educational research and development both in regular education and in corporate training. It belongs to the Leiden University in the Netherlands and provides in-service teacher training. During a series of years the centre has gained experience and expertise in various fields of education and training. Both research and development of training programmes, training materials and other educational arrangements are included in the realm of projects of the centre. The director of the centre, Jaap Van Lakerveld, is a longstanding and active member of the ATEE (Association of Teacher Education in Europe). For a series of years he was the chairman of the permanent Research and Development Centre on in-service education of teachers of this association and as such has a great potential for dissemination and exploitation of results.

TRAINING 2000 - ITALY is a VET organization ( Vocational Educational and training) certified in the Marche region for regional training, with experience in adults education. At the EU level, Training 2000 is involved in research and development of new methodologies in training (blended learning) applied within the LLP programme.
Training 2000 is a“ Certified centre for training” in the Marche region, it operates in regime of Quality and cooperates in Regional and European networks of different actors: Associations of Industries and SMEs, Universities, training providers, Associations, Ministry of education and labour, local authorities.
Since 2002 it promotes new methodologies for training in adult's education and e-learning tools.
